I'm Joe. Owners hire me when they're doing every job themselves and the big stuff keeps losing to the right-now stuff. Each week I fill whichever chief job you need most: marketing, money, tech, or how the shop runs. Then I get to work.
You've heard sales talks before. Here are three things you're probably thinking, and my straight answer to each.
You pay by the month here, no contract. If a month isn't clearly worth it, fire me. A one-line text does it. No goodbye call, no hard feelings, no bill chasing you out the door.
Because most of them are trying to guess what you'll pay, not what you need. I don't post a price list, because the honest number depends on your business. You'll have it in our first talk, by text if you want, and it doesn't change once we start.
So don't believe promises, including mine. Test them. The deal never changes: if you can't see me paying for myself, fire me. I have to earn my spot again every month, which is just how you'd want it.
Marketing weeks. The phone stopped ringing and nobody can say why.
Finance weeks. Sales are fine. The bank account disagrees.
Tech weeks. The website, the customer tracker, the thing the last guy set up wrong.
Operations weeks. Everyone's busy all day and somehow nothing gets finished.
You don't need four full-time chiefs. At your size that math never works. You need one person who's sat in all four chairs and can tell which one matters this month. That's the whole idea. I cover the x.
Long enough to make a real decision, short enough to actually happen. Anything that needs more than 17 usually isn't a meeting. It's work, and I'll go do it. Everything in between happens over text.
No contract, no set number of months, no goodbye meeting. Fire me with a one-line text and your last bill is your last bill. I have to earn my spot again every 30 days. That's the point.
That's the whole guarantee, and I mean it. Paying for myself means money found, costs cut, stuff finally done, problems that stop eating your week. You should be able to see it. The month you can't, you know what to do.
That's what you're paying for. Not a chart, not a slideshow. A person who picks up.
Owners who run the place, doing $250K to $20M a year. Builders and repair crews, clinics, shops, agencies, restaurants, online stores. The businesses that actually hold towns together. You sign the front of the paychecks, you're the best in the building at what you do, and you're also somehow the marketing team, the money team, and the computer help desk.
It's not for brand-new companies chasing investor money, or companies that already have a real team of chiefs. If you've got a boardroom and a press team, you need somebody fancier than me.
The first line is already typed. Add two sentences about your business, hit send, and you'll hear back from me. A real person, not a sales robot. Usually within the hour. Sometimes at midnight.
